BIRDCAGE IN BLOOM

Our “Birdcage in Bloom” pop-up returns from March 20-April 13! Our urban backyard once again celebrates DC’s cherry blossom season, transforming our antique metal greenhouse (nicknamed the “Birdcage”) with pink and white blooms, offering a scenic backdrop for sipping floral cocktails and Japanese spirits!

Running concurrently with DC's National Cherry Blossom Festival from March 20-April 13, Birdcage in Bloom features our blossom-draped greenhouse, adorned with flowers, greenery, and twinkling lights with first-come first-served seating.

We’ve also incorporated Japanese spirits (such as Kumamoto vodka and gin), florals and citrus, and even a Kyoto cherry blossom-infused vermouth and umami-laden nori liqueur into limited-time seasonal cocktails.

The Sakura Spritz combines Mancino Sakura Vermouth (a pink-hued fortified wine infused with 20+ different botanicals including Japanese cherry blossoms and Italian Viola flowers), Oka Gin, Oka Kura Yuzu, and Lemon Lime Soda; and the Dati Martini with Oka Vodka, Gabriel Boudier Liqueur de Nori, Dolin Dry and Pickled Cherry.

We’ll also offer a selection of cherry blossom-inspired canned beverages including Mustang Sally’s Tart Cherry sour beer, and the Lost Boy Cherry Blossom cider.

Our 2nd annual Birdcage in Bloom runs from March 20-April 13. Entry is free and first-come first-served.
