We’re debuting our in-bloom backyard at our 2nd annual Spring Festival on Sunday, April 28 from 1 to 10pm. The free-to-attend afternoon patio party will feature seasonal cocktails and spring eats, plus free floral crafts, complimentary local beer tastings, and a local popcorn pop-up shop.
The centerpiece of the multi-level 3000-square-foot backyard is an antique metal greenhouse, adorned with hundreds of pink-and-white hanging blooms, greenery, and live grape vines for the warm seasons.
At the spring Sunday fest, guests can get crafty with free paper flower kits, creating their own faux floral bouquets while imbibing.
Local brewery Port City Brewing will pour complimentary tastes of several of their beers, from new seasonal releases to core favorites, from 1-5pm.
We will also introduce new cocktails and dishes for the season, including flower-topped tipples, plus cheesy crab dip; avocado and yuzu-topped shrimp tostadas; and a new “Biancho” tomato pie – a white vegetarian pizza with ricotta, parmesan, garlic and basil.
And the smell of freshly-popped popcorn will waft through the garden, as local popcorn company Zing Pop will be “popping” up from 2-8pm. From the family behind Thai Chef Street Food, they’ll offer bold Thai flavors like Thai Chili Lime and Pad Thai.
Free to attend and open to the public, with all food and beverage sold a la carte.
